Hackathon
 
Starts Wed., Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.
Ends Thurs., Feb. 22 at 12 p.m.
FAU Boca Raton Campus, EE 106*
Teams of 2 to 4 students will build an IBM TJBot and compete in a series of challenges. All teams will receive free hardware (hw) to build their TJBot and develop applications with hw and software extensions. Students will receive training from IBM engineers on how to build the TJBot using IBM Watson services (Node JS, Cloudant, Node-RED, Mobile), and integrating additional sensors on the Raspberry PI.

CASH PRIZES FOR 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PLACE

Schedule: Teams will do the onsite development 6 p.m. Feb. 21 until 12 p.m. Feb. 22. Dinner provided Feb. 21, and breakfast and lunch provided on Feb. 22.

Participating hackers will have access to:
  • Electronics Labs
  • Test Equipment
  • 3D Printers
  • PCB Plotters
  • Prototyping Boards
  • and other Hardware.
