IoT HARDWARE HACKATHON

Teams of 2 to 4 students will prototype an internet connected device to solve a given challenge. All teams will receive free hardware to prototype and develop their designs, as well as training from IBM engineers on using Bluemix (Node JS, Cloudant, Node-RED, Mobile), ESP 8266/Arduino and Raspberry PI as part of the Internet of Things (IoT) seminar series.

Cash Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Schedule: Teams will do the onsite development 5 p.m. Feb. 22 until 12 p.m. Feb. 23. Dinner provided Feb. 22, and breakfast and lunch provided on Feb. 23.

Participating hackers will have access to:
  • Electronics Labs
  • Test Equipment
  • 3D Printers
  • PCB Plotters
  • Prototyping Boards
  • and other Hardware.
