OUR VISION, MISSION & GOALS
V I S I ON
The Florida Atlantic University College of Engineering and
Computer Science is committed to providing accessible and
responsive programs of education and research recognized
nationally and internationally for their high quality. The College
strives to be the institution of choice for regional students,
businesses and industry partners. As a community of scholars,
our faculty and staff lead by example with innovation, vision,
inspiration, integrity and a shared sense of purpose. The College
promotes a stimulating and productive environment of work, study
and scholarly inquiry for its students, faculty and staff.
M I S S I ON
Through its programs in engineering and computer science, the
College:

Educates those who will contribute to the advancement of
technical knowledge and who will be leaders in their profession.

Conducts basic and applied research in engineering, computer
science and related interdisciplinary areas.
•
Provides service to the engineering and computer science
professions, to the State of Florida, to the nation and to the
community at large.
